Forum Europe’s 2023 International AI Summit, was one of the timeliest conferences on AI policy in 2023. The Summit was one of the first opportunities to reflect on the very latest global developments surrounding AI regulation and ethics a few weeks after the release of the G7 code of conduct for developers of generative artificial intelligence and the White House AI Executive Order as well as the UK AI Safety Summit, while negotiations on the EU AI Act were nearing their completion. Over 250 in-person attendees and thousands of online participants had the opportunity to explore these critical developments with prominent voices coming from the European Commission, the European Parliament, the governments of Spain, Ireland, Brazil, Japan, Canada, the US, as well as the OECD and the UN alongside senior industry players and experts.
