Inetum, fully committed to security services
Second place in security services, with a score of 83% in Whitelane’s rankings! Inetum has been concentrating on this area for several years, and is delighted with the research firm’s recognition.
83% in security services! A very good result for Inetum in Whitelane Research’s BeLux Sourcing 2024, in which the company came second. In second place, too, with 80%, in cloud and infrastructure services.
The benchmark study: 300 BeLux organisations with significant IT spend, on various aspects of their IT procurement; satisfaction ratings to some 35 different suppliers for work carried out in 2023. Inetum was present in all categories. The service provider also ranks third in terms of the number of customer reviews it receives, demonstrating its extensive presence in large enterprises. “Inetum provides high-performing to very high-performing services in virtually all areas of IT services,” comments Jef Loos, Head of Research Europe, Whitelane.
A successful entry into connectivity and network services
In the area of cloud and infrastructure services, Inetum maintains its second place, but with a higher score. Cloud and Infrastructure services include day-to-day maintenance activities, data centre integration and support, infrastructure management and IaaS and PaaS services. Inetum performed very well in this category.
Inetum’s customers also rate the company as one of the top providers of network and connectivity services. Inetum’s performance in this category was instantly remarkable, given that it is the first time the company has entered this category. A great entry!
In terms of security services, Inetum did better than last year, both in terms of the ranking (second place) and the score (83%). Inetum is proud of this result, as the company has been focusing more strongly on this area for several years. Inetum also performed well in the Workplace category, confirming its ongoing commitment to quality, with a focus on customer experience.
For the second year running, Inetum is one of the best-performing service providers. “We already achieved good results for technology services last year. And we’re doing even better this year“, comments Jo Leemans, Director Technologies, Inetum Belgium. The Inetum Group’s vision is strongly focused on application services and digital transformation. This will also lead to more investment in our country. And therefore to a further strengthening in this area. “What’s more, we work closely with our international colleagues, which is an advantage for our customers with subsidiaries abroad. Outsourcing is a strategic offering for us. We enter into strategic partnerships with companies, often for decades, in which we develop a close relationship with local teams and nearshore specialists.”
The importance of AI and the percentage of large organisations working on it
Inetum is also investing heavily in AI, and in GenAI in particular. According to Whitelane, the demand is becoming a reality. 9% of respondents to its latest survey say they are using artificial intelligence with a significant impact on business processes, and 36% with a limited impact. 21% are experimenting with AI, but are not really using it yet. 28% are not yet working on it or do not know what it is in their company.
Jo Leemans: “For Inetum, artificial intelligence is more than just a technology. AI has the potential to transform an organisation in terms of innovation, optimising processes and creating value. AI also offers many opportunities for humans and society. Our vision of AI is to integrate it into the way organisations work to create impact. By encouraging data-driven decision making, enabling personalised experiences and driving sustainable growth.“
